Canada Water Culture Space

Designed
by world renowned architect Piers Gough, partner at CZWG architects,
the Canada Water Library opened in November 2011. The library
incorporates a range of cultural and community facilities, reflecting
Southwark Council’s ambition to put libraries at the heart of community
life. |

Theatre

The Broadway Bar
entrance has a disabled platform lift to the Stalls area. No steps.
There are 10
steps to the Stalls from the street. There are 36 steps up to
the Dress Circle. Staircases have handrails . There are 18 steps from
street level down to the Studio Theatre.

will open 30 minutes before the performance. |

Deptford
Lounge has been purpose built to cater for all members of the community
irrespective of age, ability or special needs. All services offered at
the complex have been designed with accessibility in mind.
All spaces
on each level are fully accessible for wheelchair users with accessible
toilets and shower facilities also available. |

art for 21 years and continues to develop and manage programmes of work
that promote cultural and social cohesion. Every year the company
produces numerous high quality arts activities and large-scale
performance events. Entelechy is particularly skilled in creating work
that builds bridges between groups of people and individuals who lead
parallel and unconnected lives, often in the same neighbourhoods. This
includes older people from diverse communities, young people, people
with learning disabilities and people from different cultural and
social backgrounds. |

London School of Mosaic

We are an independent art school that specialises in teaching mosaic art to everyone from children and adults. We deliver specialist short courses, technical workshops and a Diploma in Mosaic Studies, the first of its kind in the UK.
Based under a council estate in Gospel Oak, Camden, we are a civic space, providing opportunities for local artists to practice, local charities to operate and local people to come together.
Our community is at the heart of what we do and as a charity, our mission is to provide opportunities for well-being and social cohesion through the creation of mosaic art and other art activities. We work extensively with vulnerable people within the community, including those with special educational needs, youths from a local offending service and older people.
We undertake commissions, working closely with our clients to create pieces that surpass their expectations. We have created a variety of mosaics for a vast range of clients; from small portraits for private individuals through to large scale mosaics for hotels, councils and railway companies. |
